Pakistan is observing Kashmir Day today (Monday) to express solidarity and wholehearted support of the nation to just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under UN resolutions. "We will emerge more strongly if you try to suppress us", said Saeed, who was listed as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the US.

Referring to the future of South Asia and Kashmir dispute, the Speaker remarked that peace in South Asia will remain elusive when world's so-called largest democracy unleash brute force against the people of Kashmir.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the Pakistani people have always raised their voices against the oppression of Indian force in occupied Kashmir and abuse of human rights.

Delivering a speech, Ambassador Asif Durrani paid tribute to the "valiant" people of Kashmir who have laid down their lives in the struggle for "attaining their right to self-determination".

He said that "immediately after such attacks, so-called Kashmiri Rulers and authorities rush to issue statements of condemnation and probes but till now no criminal or assailant has been penalized or even booked".

He added that it is irony that the worldwide community stands as silent spectator while India renege on United Nations resolutions and launch violence, fake encounters, enforced disappearances, molestation, murders, and the use of pellet guns against defenseless population as India's officially sanctioned policy in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. By condemning the genocide of Kashmiris committed by Indian Occupation forces, the participants also paid great tribute to the courageous people of the valley. He said Pakistan would continue moral and diplomatic support of Kashmiris. He added that the Pakistani government wanted to stop him from raising the Kashmir issue.
