In late previous year, Camila Cabello unveiled the music video for "Never Be the Same", the third single off her debut solo album "Camila".

"People kept saying to us that this song was never gonna work at radio because they didn't think people would "get it" and today "Havana" is 1 at pop radio, thanks to my incredible fan army and my lovely friends at radio for believing and supporting", Cabello tweeted in November. Besides her debut album dropping on Friday (January 12), Camila also received a massive shout-out from Elton John on the latest Beats 1 broadcast with Matt Wilkinson. "You're to blame/ Just one hit of you, I knew I'll never, ever be the same/ I'll never be the same".

Cabello is doing more than fine without her former bandmates.

"It became clear that it was not possible to do solo stuff and be in the group at the same time.if anyone wants to explore their individuality, it's not right for people to tell you no".

In a revealing new New York Times published Thursday (January 11), Cabello talks about everything from what it was like to watch 5H mock-kill her on live TV to what it was like to get her first kiss.

On the list of shadiest of shady award show moments, Fifth Harmony figuratively kicking Camila Cabello off the stage in front of the entire world the MTV VMAs past year is definitely right at the top. Her single "Havana" has been sitting comfortably at the top of charts since it's release in summer 2017.

Tunisia: Anti-Austerity Protests Turn Deadly
In a number of areas, the army has been called out to back up local security forces and protect government buildings and banks. One protester died in unclear circumstances in Tebourba, a town 40 kilometers west of the capital Tunis .

"I'd just say congratulations", said Elton.

Camila Cabello has spoken out about an infamous moment during Fifth Harmony's 2017 MTV VMA performance. I was just like, "What?"

"I have to make space for the good stuff to happen in my life", Camila continued.

Album standout Into It is a delectable slice of Carly Rae Jepsen Lite, as Cabello playfully coos over punchy synths and hi-hats, beckoning, "I see a king-size bed in the corner, we should get into it".

Tension intensified when Cabello expressed interest in writing lyrics for future Fifth Harmony tracks and was shot down. I felt way happier.
