The Himachal Pradesh Police on Friday registered a complaint against Congress leader Asha Kumari for slapping a police constable. She said, "The constable was abusing and pushing me, trying to stop me from entering the party office even after I showed her pass to identify myself".

However, the Congress MLA has apologized saying that she shouldn't have lost her temper. All of a sudden, the MLA lost her cool and slapped the constable.

'Deputy PM' Damian Green resigns amid extreme porn allegations
In the statements, Green suggested he was not aware that indecent material had been found on his computers. The pornography was reportedly found on his computer during a police investigation of government leaks.

She added, "Our national president says such incidents should not happen", she said referring to Rahul's statement, who was in a meeting with the party workers in the Congress headquarters. "I am not happy at it". When I raised my hand for defence, she has termed that as "slap" than I don't know the rest. Sources said that since Rahul - an SPG protectee - had already begun the meeting, the police officials posted outside the Congress office in Shimla - the venue of the review meet - were directed to not allow anyone else in.

The matter was highlighted after the woman constable slapped Kumari back in a fit of rage.

During a day-long visit to Shimla, the Congress President will review the party's performance in the recently-held Himachal Pradesh assembly election. He met party legislators, party candidates and district presidents, to discuss what went wrong in the elections. The BJP has bagged 44 seats in the 68-seat Assembly to form the government in the state.
