"He played basketball in this city, came back to play professional basketball in this city and he lost his life in this city".

Lorenzen Wright's decomposed body was found in suburban Memphis on July 28, 2010 with multiple gunshot wounds.

Wright-Robinson and Turner attended the same church, where he was a deacon. "They got her! They got her!" Former L.A. Clipper Lorenzen Wright was murdered seven years ago.

Wright-Robinson only added to the suspicion when she had spent nearly all of the money from the life insurance policy he took out on himself six months before his death.

Wright-Robinson had written a fiction book, "Mr. Tell Me Anything", that featured what appeared to be a thinly disguised depiction of her ex-husband. And the 2015 Sports Illustrated-Fox Sports 1 joint investigation into Wright's murder had plenty to say about Sherra, including that Wright's assistant turned audio recordings of Sherra threatening him over to police. He was 34-years-old at the time he was murdered.

"I'm a mother. I'm a wife. The law enforcement should do what's best to find who's the killer".

Sherra: "I do. But I'm a wife, a mother, an author, uh, I let people do what, what, what they're good at doing and I'm just going to do what I'm good at doing. We all need to know". He played 13 seasons in the National Basketball Association with the Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers before retiring in 2009. Police believe strongly that Wright-Robinson and co-conspirator Billy Turner previously tried to kill Wright.

The affidavit said she gave the statements to police in the Memphis suburb of Collierville, where she lives, on July 27 - nine days after he left her house for the last time. She also had told the paper that she had finished a sequel to the book in which Mr. Tell Me Anything is murdered. Recently, though, the murder weapon was found and progress has been made on the case.

Court documents in Shelby County, Tennessee, show how Wright-Robinson, 41, lavishly spent $973K of the settlement within 10 months of receiving it - even though the money was designated to support the couple's six children.
