Luckily for those who hate season finale teasers, Adrian Peterson has clarified what his future looks like.

The Arizona Cardinals have placed running back Adrian Peterson on injured reserve and claimed cornerback C.J. Goodwin off waivers, the team announced Friday.

Peterson, 32, still has one year remaining on his contract.

"He'll heal fine", Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said.

In a statement, the running back says he's focused on getting better and looking forward to next season.

The first phase of polling for 89 seats in the 182-seat state assembly was held on December 9 with over 60% voting registered. As he got down from his vehicle, Modi greeted Singh with folded hands and extended it towards the former prime minister.

AP finishes the year with 156 carries for 529 yards, good for only 3.4 yards per carry. "I'm grateful for the opportunity that the Arizona Cardinals have given me to show that I can still contribute to an National Football League team".

Peterson's neck injury won't require surgery, but it only adds to his plethora of missed games throughout his career.

Peterson signed with the New Orleans Saints in the offseason, but found little success in what has turned into a dominant two-headed backfield with Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara.

For Peterson, it's the story of his career.

At 6-7 on the season, the Cardinals still have a very slim chance of making the playoffs in the NFC, needing to win all of their final three games and hope other results go their way. He also caught 11 passes on 19 targets. Williams gained 170 yards on 36 carries in those two games.
