One person died and several others were injured on Sunday when a hit-and-run driver mowed down a group of people after a stabbing outside a New York City hookah bar, police said.
One person was killed, two were critically injured and one suffered minor injuries.
According to a NYPD detective, as quoted by AP, the incident is not believed to be a terror act.
The driver plowed his auto into at least six people about 4:30 a.m.in the Richmond Hill neighborhood in Queens, according to the New York Police Department.

He says the man fled after striking them around 4:30 a.m. Sunday. Two other people were stabbed during the brawl, and were also in a stable condition. The third was hospitalized in stable condition.
The driver then got back in the vehicle and drove onto the sidewalk about half a block away, striking six victims.
Police have not released any information about the victims, the driver or the vehicle.
Police still were sorting out the details, but authorities say there was a dispute before the man drove into the people.
