Every year, the White House gets decked out in elaborate decorations to celebrate the holidays, and the Trumps have put their own personal touch on this season's Christmas flair.

The theme for the this year's White House Christmas decor is supposed to be "time-honored traditions", but looking at this picture, you'd be forgiven for thinking it's more "Grimms' fairy tales".

Born in Slovenia, when it was part of Yugoslavia, Melania Trump is the first First Lady to be born overseas since Louisa Adams in 1825.
