Gal Gadot won't do Wonder Woman sequel if Brett Ratner is involved

Ratner's company, RatPac-Dune Entertainment co-produced the hugely successful film along with Warner Brothers, and is therefore lined up for the sequel.

'Wonder Woman' star Gal Gadot is reportedly taking a stand against working with Brett Ratner after he was accused of sexual harassment... The source adds that Gadot knows Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops because the studio can't have a movie rooted in women's empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women. She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet. Is there going to be a way to disentangle themselves from a guy who has been accused of masturbating in front of several women, and outing Ellen Page on the set of X-Men: The Last Stand?

There's no doubt that Gal Gadot, former combat instructor, beauty queen and mother, is serious- just last month she boycotted a dinner honouring Ratner.

Well if she wasn't already a hero on the screen, Gal Gadot appears to be using her superpowers for good in real life. Following the accusations made against him, Ratner released a statement in which he revealed that he would "step away from all Warner Bros. -related activities".

Ratner is now facing several harassment allegations from a dozen women including Hollywood stars Natasha Henstridge and Olivia Munn. On Nov. 1, the Los Angeles Times reported six women's allegations, including one of forced oral sex, against Ratner.

The recent rumor about Gadot's involvement seemed to indicate that the actress had not yet committed to the sequel, but the Deadline story suggests otherwise, saying Gadot is locked-in to star and that there haven't been any talks involving Ratner's involvement.

Wonder Woman is one of the year's biggest blockbuster hits, earning plaudits from critics and moviegoers alike.

Gadot has been a vocal advocate for the women who have stood up against harassment they claim to have suffered at the hands of the Hollywood elite.
