Since his release from prison on October 1, the 70-year-old former National Football League star has been frequenting bars in the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas.

But there are conflicting reports about whether Simpson, 70, was drunk at the time, which would be a parole violation.

O.J. Simpson reacts during his parole hearing at Lovelock Correctional Centre in Lovelock, Nevada, U.S. July 20, 2017.

The attorney, Attorney Malcolm LaVergne, told the Associated Press on Thursday that O.J. got a trespass notice from The Cosmopolitan on Wednesday.

Simpson's attorney denied the allegations, arguing his client was not under the influence and the drug and alcohol test he took that night came back negative. He's been spotted all over the hotel.

LaVergne says Simpson was neither drunk nor belligerent and only tends to have one drink when he is socializing, WXYZ reports.

Prosecutors said that Simpson led a group of men who used threats, guns and force to take photographs, footballs and other items from memorabilia dealers Bruce Fromong and Al Beardsley on September 13, 2007.

Security reportedly showed up and escorted Simpson out of the hotel, and he has been permanently banned from the Cosmopolitan.

The former actor was acquitted of the double-murder of his ex-girlfriend Nicole Brown and her pal Ron Goldman in 1995.
