Watters on Brazile's DNC Revelations: Clinton Was 'Pulling all the Purse Strings'

"I was in agony as I dialed him", Brazile wrote of the September 7 phone call.

If all of this is true - that Clinton's campaign provided for the DNC's operating expenses each month - the committee obviously had a huge vested interest in her nomination.

Brazile, in an attempt to improve her own public image with Sanders Supporters in the wake of the Wikileaks revelations that she tipped off the Clinton Campaign to CNN debate questions, explained that she brought the agreement to the attention of Bernie Sanders personally after the primaries ended.

She said that when Perez won the party post early this year, "the very first conversation I had with him [was] to say, you have got to put together a Democratic Party in which everybody can have confidence that the party is working for Democrats, rather than Democrats are working for the party". She also said Wasserman-Schultz had little interest in heading the party, so she let Clinton's campaign in Brooklyn do it.

The questionable nature of the Hillary Victory Fund was no secret during the Democratic primary.

Brazile blasted the agreement in her book, saying it "was not illegal, but it sure looked unethical". Brazile says she discovered the agreement, which she could not reveal in her book, but the document allowed for Hillary to control the DNC strategy and money as well as all significant hiring decisions. "If they walk away satisfied, that a procedure has been put in place that will assure us going forward that the choice of the Democrats across this country will be the nominee for president, then I think we'll be in good shape".

For Biking With Bieber, Selena Gomez Stays Cute and Casual
The sighting arrives two days after it was reported that Gomez and The Weeknd broke up after 10 months together. Given that the two have reconnected over the last few weeks, it's no surprise that Bieber wants her back.

Brazile claims that the DNC is having a hard time raising money, while other parts of the party are gaining intense strength due to the anti-Trump movement.

Brazile alleged that the DNC was in debt and signed an agreement with the Clinton campaign to keep the party financially afloat.

"Had I known this, I never would have accepted the interim chair position, but here we were with only weeks before the election", write Brazile. Brazile says Wasserman Schultz arranged a $2 million loan from the Clinton campaign without the consent of party officers like herself, contrary to party rules.

A DNC representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Jezebel.

Brazile, now a political analyst, took over as interim DNC chair in July 2016 after the resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Bernie was not angry but wanted to know if Hillary could beat Trump in the general election, according to Brazile. Brazile, who would really like to retain her standing in the party, has knifed Team Hillary, and has demonstrated that she can be useful to the new leaders of the Democrats. As for current DNC chair Tom Perez, Warren said his handling of the matter will serve as a test.
