Klopp rules out major changes for Maribor clash

Mignolet is the clear number one at Anfield but Karius is preferred for Champions League fixtures - a decision that many find particularly freakish from Klopp. When asked about the prospect of a much-changed starting XI lining up for Liverpool he said, "It is the last place I would (rotate heavily)".

The Reds have drawn their first two games in Group E - 2-2 at home to Sevilla and then 1-1 in Russian Federation against Spartak Moscow - and now sit second in the table.

Maribor are without a win at home in the Champions League group stages in seven attempts and have never scored a few times in their 14 games in the competition.

Critics have already been claiming the £35m summer signing from Arsenal could be a flop, pointing to only one start since he arrived and some indifferent displays.

Jurgen Klopp insists Liverpool's tough run of results has not dealt damage to the team's level of confidence. "There is space for us to improve, of course, but the shape in general is good", added the German manager, sounding humble but confident. "I can not now mention it if I need it and then when I don't need it then I say it's not important", continued the boss.

Turkey welcomes Hamas-Fatah reconciliation
"This must be stressed ahead of expected worldwide pressure to resume negotiations in light of the Palestinian agreement". Hamas and Israel fought three wars over the past decade.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he warned of the dangers of underestimating a team such as Maribor.

"We need to be confident, courageous and concentrated against a good football playing team".

He was criticised for not reacting quickly enough to the free-kick which allowed Spartak to take an early lead in Moscow last time out which put his side under pressure. Maribor have won only one of their eight games against English opposition in all competitions (D2 L5), a 2-1 win against Wigan Athletic in the 2013/14 Europa League group stages.

"We have wasted points and the performances have been good". They usually have to attack, they are the top team in Slovenia.

Maribor have not conceded more than one goal in a single match during their last 19 home UEFA Champions League matches (includes qualifying).
