The official Facebook page of the Nevada Department of Corrections posted a short video of Simpson's release in the early Sunday morning darkness.

State Department of Corrections public inmate records provided no information about Simpson's custody status or location, which prisons spokeswoman Brooke Keast said usually indicates that an inmate is being moved in custody.

"I told him, "Don't come back, ' and he responded, 'I don't intend to", Keast commented.

Back in July when Simpson was granted parole from his 33-year sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping, it was reported that he could be released from Lovelock Correctional Institute as early as Monday, Oct. 2. At the parole board hearing, there was no mention of his 1990s trial for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and a friend, Ron Goldman.

And Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is trying to stop the celebrity-turned convicted robber from moving here. Simpson, a former player for the Buffalo Bills, said the items belonged to him. The 70-year-old walked out of prison a little after midnight on October 1 -this way he could avoid media attention. A scripted series about the actual trial, The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story, also racked up nominations and awards, including a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy.

Mattis Escapes Rocket Attack in Afghanistan
Taliban had later claimed the responsibility of the attack and accepted that Mattis was the target of the attack. Afghanistan could become a safe haven for terrorists if worldwide troops withdrew from the country, he warned.

Although he is no longer in prison, Simpson will remain on parole until September 29, 2022.

"We needed to do this to ensure public safety and to avoid any possible incident", Keast said over the phone.

"He's going to focus on kids, friends, his family and golf", Tom Scotto, who attend Simpson's parole hearing said. "The specter of his residing in comfort in Florida should not be an option. Maybe not the first day or second, but he is going to go out".

A Nevada prison official says O.J. Simpson, the former football legend and Hollywood star, has been released from a Nevada prison in Lovelock after serving nine years for armed robbery. He was ordered to serve a minimum of nine years before he was eligible for parole.
