Gab Marcotti believes AC Milan's recent transfer activity is an indication of their ambitions for UCL placement next season.

Milan have already snapped up midfielder Franck Kessie from Atalanta, but it is the capture of Porto striker Andre Silva for £33million earlier on Monday that puts his future at the San Siro is most jeopardy.

In addition to Andre Silva in the first days of the summer transfer window AC Milan have signed defenders Matteo Musacchio and Ricardo Rodriguez, as well as rented Frank, Cassie.

Last season, the 21-year-old netted 16 goals in 32 Primeira Liga appearances, while he bagged four goals in the UEFA Champions League.

"I was pleasantly impressed and surprised by this opportunity and I am very happy to be here at Milan", he said to MilanNews. He has scored seven times in just eight caps for Portugal.

Five farmers had died on the spot, and one - who was allegedly detained by the police - later in the hospital. In his address, Chouhan said, "It is okay to protest if the government doesn't listen".

Instead, they've arguably adopted a more sensible approach with the signing of Silva for much less in terms of the fee and wages, and it's reported by that they will continue to pursue Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic.

Silva is unlikely to be the last new arrival at the club this summer.
